Mood Honey is a brand new energetic band covering a wide variety of genres including, but not limited to, funk, blues, jazz, soul, rock and jam. Made up of seasoned Maine musicians, Mood Honey dives into originals, thoughtful covers, and improv with the purpose of keeping booties shaking all night long.

"Laissez Le Bontemps Roulez" is what the folks in N'Owlins say on Fat Tuesday, the last day before the solemn season of Lent. the city is a crossroads of world culture, simultaneously parochial and cosmopolitan. anywhere you go in the city you might come across a brass band leading a parade. this includes weddings, parties and even funeral processions. Sad hymns on the way to the cemetery and joyful tunes on the way back. Community members join the parade even if they did not know the deceased, forming a "second line" dancing to the beat.

For one evening only, the Marshall Wharf Brewing Company in Belfast will be transformed to a speakeasy on Bourbon Street when the Huddled Masses Orchestra plays on Tuesday February 17th from 5 to 8 PM. "the program includes songs you can dance to and also sing along with," said Joe Niemczura, the leader. "Lately we have been playing Latin-American Cumbia music. the evening would not be complete without it.
